Whoever hates on Friendsgiving has clearly never experienced the true glory of a real Friendsgiving! I recently got together with my gal pals & we had SO MUCH FUN cooking up a super fance foodie dinner for each other (which I promise is not a normal thing). This meal featured specialties from Thomas Kellar’s Bouchon Bakery cookbook. Check out our menu:
- Bouchon Bacon Cheddar Scones
- Beef Bourguignon (adapted from Smitten Kitchen’s Mushroom Bourguignon)
- Truffled Mashed Potatoes
- Double Apple & Brussels Sprout Slaw
- Garlicky Green Beans
- Bouchon (Apple) Tart with Almond Cream (the recipe originally calls for plums, but we had a hard time finding them so made due with delicious Granny Smiths)
