Over the holiday I road-tripped to Houston to visit family and clocked a. lot. of car time.  One of my rents fave chain restaurants is Outback Steakhouse.  (I didn’t put up a fight because some of there items are actually quite tasty 🙂 )

I love that Outback highlights “Under 600 Calories” options on their menu, but I wanted to give my personal recommendation on healthier eats to pick:

  • Seared Peppered Ahi [415 calories]
  • Chicken Tortilla Soup (cup) [160 calories] + House Salad (with Light Balsamic Vinaigrette) [190 calories]
  • Sesame Salad with Ahi OR Chicken (Sesame Vinaigrette on the side) [<550 calories]
  • 5oz Grilled Chicken on the Barbie [200 calories] + Fresh Seasonal Mixed Veggies [100 calories]
  • Perfectly Grilled Salmon [390 calories] + Grilled Asparagus [60 calories]
  • Simply Grilled Mahi [380 calories] + Fresh Steamed Broccoli [85 calories]
  • Half 6oz Victoria Filet [110 calories] + House Salad (with Light Balsamic Vinaigrette) [190 calories] + Half Sweet Potato [145 calories]
