I’m definitely someone who prefers salty over sweet. But I often have a hard time finding something healthy AND satisfying when a craving for something savory hits.
And while I’ve heard of popping popcorn in a paper bag before, I’ve just never taken the time to try it. Well now I’m mad that I didn’t try this awesome air-popped method before because it really is so so so easy! Let me demonstrate in super speed:
DIRECTIONS for POPPING your DIY MICROWAVEABLE POPCORN BAG:
- Remove the paper popcorn bag from the packaging and unfold it to standup straight.
- Make a fold at the top of the bag & continue folding down 2 more times. (3 folds total)
- Microwave the folded popcorn bag on HIGH for 3-4 minutes, stopping the microwave when the kernel popping slows to ~2 seconds.
- Enjoy your air-popped popcorn plain OR spritz a bit of olive oil spray & sprinkle with seasonings for a more flavorful experience.
