2 words: BEFOREHAND. BREW. That’s it! So simple, right? My no fail coffee:water ratio is 1 Tbsp fresh grounds per 1 cup of H2O. Make as much as you want beforehand, store your brewed coffee in a glass container (I love this Small Glass Water Carafe from Target) in the fridge, and when your ready for a refreshing pick-me-up just add any desired cream (ideally low-fat) & sugar (consider a sugar-substitute) to the mix. This is an absolute staple of mine in the summer time when it’s too hot for hot coffee.
