The items that we are using on these boards are generally not seasonal, fairly easy to find, good sources of protein, and more affordable than adding snow crab legs and lobster tails.

These easy seafood charcuterie board ideas are so delicious you will want to make them for all of your next special occasions.

All of the boards listed below are for appetizer board for approximately 4 people.  However, the amount that the board feeds depends on the other options you have available.

1.Tuna & Crab Salad Dip Charcuterie Board

For this board we are making a tuna salad and crab dip. Seafood dips are a fun way to add visual appeal to the wooden board.  This board is perfect for an appetizer for game watching, party, or your next gathering. Tuna salad and crab dip are one of my favorite dips.  

However, you can also use it to make a wrap, stuff a mini pepper, or eat it with pita crackers.

Place the dips in small bowls around the beautiful seafood board.

Grocery List:

  • canned tuna or tuna pouches

  • imitation crab meat

  • mayonnaise with olive oil

  • fresh sprigs of dill (or dried dill weed)

  • celery

  • pita crackers

  • mini peppers

  • lemon juice

  • cream cheese (whipped)

How to Make the Tuna Salad and Crab Salad (Dip)

For both the tuna salad and crab salad, here is what I used:

Tuna Salad – mix 2 tuna pouches, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese, then add dill, salt, and pepper to taste.

Crab Salad – mix 8 to 12 ounces of chopped imitation crab, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese, then add dill, salt, and pepper to taste. 

2. Sushi Theme Charcuterie Board

Don’t worry, you don’t have to roll sushi for this one.  This board is intended for using fresh sushi purchased from your local grocery store or restaurant.  It doesn’t require lots of sushi because there are other pairings on the board that make nice options on the charcuterie platter.  

This beautiful platter is perfect for your next dinner party.  The best part is that you can buy things that take very little preparation, so it doesn’t have to be stressful to be a great host.

  • 2 sushi rolls of choice

  • peeled boiled shrimp (I use shrimp cocktail platter)
